VASER Lipo uses ultrasound energy to break up and liquefy fat deposits, making it easy to suction fat cells from out of the body. Good Overall Health
Patients must be nonsmokers and in good overall health. Conditions such as autoimmune disorders or uncontrolled diabetes can increase certain risks. Dr. Barone will carefully assess your candidacy before providing liposuction.
Near Ideal Weight
It is important to note that VASER liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. It is intended to target problem areas with small amounts of unwanted fat (eight to nine pounds) that do not respond to diet or exercise.
Sufficient Skin Elasticity
Patients must have good skin elasticity for VASER. If you wish to address loose skin, Dr. Barone can discuss combining liposuction with other procedures during your consultation at our San Antonio office.
