This patient describes her experience with laser-assisted liposuction at our San Antonio plastic surgery center. She had liposuction to reduce the size of her upper arms, and she loves the results.

Well, I had the cool laser liposuction done by Dr. Barone. It was mid-August and I had an opportunity to do the surgery before my kids started back to school so I was able to get a chance for me to recuperate a little bit before I got busy with them and I had it done because the size of my arms have always bothered me. My coworkers did not even know that this was something that bothered me but I just, when I used to workout, had more time to work out, my arms are always big and when I put my shirts on, if I had like a tight fitting T-shirt or long sleeve, it is just really tight around that area and so I know a lot of it has to do with being, it is genetic, and my mom has large arms and my grandmother did and I just wanted to see if I could do something about it so I had an opportunity to do that and I am really glad I did it. I just feel better. When I put my shirts on, my arms go right through them. I had a lot of tightness there usually in this lower area where you have a lot of, like women my age get a lot of sagging and I do not have that anymore. Still really tight. It has been six weeks since I have had it done and it looks really good. Dr. Barone is wonderful. I am definitely a fan of hers. She is great and I will come see her again for some other issue that I might have but she has just been wonderful. Whenever I come for the followup, she does take pictures of me to see how much I have improved, and she is great.
